Is it good thing or we should move beyond it. Even if we want to move beyond it.. can we..
However, there is nothing wrong in trying..
What really drives nationalism.. is it racism? or religion? or cast? or ethnicity? I think there are different factors which create nations and hence nationalism.. most common is ethnicity.. However, India is best example of Nationalism beyond ethnicity.. there was different factor which caused bad nationalism in India where it should have been 20 different countries. I think we can attribute it first to Moguls and then to Britishers to create India. otherwise it would have been 15-20 different countries..
What about USA.. I think it was mainly feudalism in Europe.. People were fed up with old world and they wanted to create something new.. I have limited knowledge aout American history and this is based on 4th grade Parent's guide ;-) in the end.. even here it is racism and religion.. which trumps ultimate politics..
Europe.. mainly ethnicity and hence language..
South America.. is it local tribes and hence ethnicity..
China.. Some kind of revolution..
Japan.. Pure ethnicity.. don't know if there are any other race or language in Japan..
Africa.. race or ethnicity.. or may be something similar to India.. Colonization..
Middle east... tribes.. religion..
Looking at them.. most of them looks foundation of evil or war or fight..
So broadly speaking in general.. Nationalism is based on flawed concepts.. so we should get rid of it.. It is literally impossible.. UN is example of beyond nationalism.. I haven't seen any direct benefit of UNO or something similar..
Is there any benefit of Nationalism.. I can't think.. except for it is root cause of wars and destruction..
What is alternative.. nothing I can't think of.. there are very few examples of World Leader..May be Alexander.. who tried to conquer the world.. How about EU.. is it doing any good or creating any better brotherhood between different countries..
So Nationalism is still relevant.. it was wrong title. but we really need it.. may be not.. however, without viable alternative we will have to live with it..

Every one is good
This is foundation of all my theories.. I very strongly believe that everyone is good from their heart and their own perspective. Everyone thinks that they are right and have very valid justifications for their actions and thoughts..
However, everyone's interpretation of "good" is different and is influenced by different factors.. these factors are infinite.. some of them which I can think at this time are:
1) Environment where they grow and live
2) Parenting and upbringing
3) Society and and national cultures and beliefs as a whole
4) Time or Era when you are born..
5) Genes???
...
As I mentioned, there can be infinite factors influencing and defining "Good".. but still everyone is good by their own definition..
All we need is to understand "Good" of others and possibly appreciate it.. Many a times someone else's definition of good may not align with current society norms and standards.. However, if given proper love / Pyar it can still be nurtured and aligned with acceptable norms and standards of society..
I am firm believer of this and I will continue to update on this from time to time.. As this blog is my way of communicating my thoughts I won't hold them to complete it.. I will keep on sending small posts on variety of other topics.. However, this is something I am really passionate about and will keep on updating it in future..

Inspiration for this Blog
All the credit goes to my lovely and one of the best sisters in universe.. Prita Didi and Rashmi Didi.. they were so much inspired by pyar kee baate that they asked me to start documenting my thoughts for greater good of mankind.
They were the one, who suggested name for my blog.. and I quickly agreed for it as it reminds me of my lovely jijaji who still calls me "Shailu Baba" with pyar and fatherly luv..
Off course now they are cursing me and regretting their suggestions and are worried that people will get them..
I also want to thank and give due credit to my dear and lovely Peenu Jijaji for keep on supporting me for my new passion and providing excellent atmosphere and conducive environment for these great and inspiring writings..
